Essex Carroll

This 13 story high-end residential building was designed using steel framing and composite floors, which rests on a mat foundation. BIM played a large role in the design of this structure and expedited the fabrication of the steel structure. In addition, the building is located on 4th Avenue in Park Slope and therefore required NYC Transit approval. WES Consultants provided steel detailing, rebar detailing  and underpinning detailing for the project. All drawings were prepared using 3D modeling software.
